Juicy strawberries filled with creamy Nutella make a quick, easy, and crowd-pleasing sweet treat perfect for any occasion.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 20 large fresh strawberries
  • 1/2 cup (120g) Nutella or similar hazelnut spread
  • 2 tablespoons (30g) softened cream cheese (optional)
  • 1 teaspoon powdered sugar (optional)
  • A few drops vanilla extract (optional)
  • Chopped nuts (hazelnuts or almonds) for garnish (optional)
  • Mini chocolate chips for garnish (optional)
  • Shredded coconut for garnish (optional)

Instructions

  1. Wash and dry strawberries thoroughly to prevent filling from sliding off (about 5 minutes).
  2. Hull the strawberries by hollowing out the green stem end with a paring knife or melon baller, creating a small cavity without piercing the bottom (about 10 minutes).
  3. Prepare the filling by combining Nutella with softened cream cheese, powdered sugar, and vanilla extract in a bowl; mix until smooth. Skip cream cheese and extras if you prefer plain Nutella (about 5 minutes).
  4. Warm the Nutella filling slightly in the microwave for 10-15 seconds to soften for easier piping (about 1 minute).
  5. Fill the strawberries by piping the Nutella mixture into each cavity until full but not overflowing (about 10 minutes).
  6. Optionally garnish with chopped nuts, mini chocolate chips, or shredded coconut (about 2 minutes).
  7. Chill the stuffed strawberries in the refrigerator for at least 30 minutes before serving to let the filling set.

Notes

Dry strawberries thoroughly before filling to prevent filling from sliding off. Warm Nutella slightly for easier piping but do not overheat. Chill stuffed strawberries before serving for best texture. Avoid overfilling to prevent spills. Can substitute cream cheese with coconut cream for dairy-free version.
