  • 8 ounces crumbled feta cheese
  • 4 ounces softened cream cheese
  • 2 tablespoons plain full-fat Greek yogurt
  • 1 tablespoon freshly squeezed lemon juice
  • 1 small garlic clove, minced
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil, plus extra for drizzling
  • 3/4 cup roughly chopped and toasted walnuts
  • 2 tablespoons hot honey
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Toast the walnuts in a dry skillet over medium heat for 4–5 minutes, stirring frequently until fragrant and lightly browned. Remove from heat and transfer to a plate to cool for about 5 minutes.
  2. In a small bowl, mix the toasted walnuts with 2 tablespoons of hot honey. Toss gently to coat evenly and set aside.
  3. In a food processor, combine crumbled feta, softened cream cheese, Greek yogurt, lemon juice, minced garlic, and olive oil. Process for about 1 minute until smooth and fluffy, scraping down the sides as needed.
  4. Taste the whipped feta dip and add black pepper and salt if needed. Process again for a few seconds to incorporate.
  5. Transfer the whipped feta to a serving bowl and drizzle with a little olive oil.
  6. Spoon the spicy hot honey walnuts over the top, allowing some honey to drizzle down the sides.
  7. Serve with toasted baguette slices, fresh vegetables, or warm pita bread.

Notes

If feta is too dry, soften by soaking briefly in warm water and draining before use. Watch walnuts carefully while toasting to avoid burning. For a smoother dip, process in short bursts and scrape sides often. Chilling dip for 30 minutes before serving helps meld flavors and thickens texture. Keep walnuts separate if preparing ahead to maintain crunch.
