  • 1/2 teaspoon smoked paprika
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt (adjust to taste)
  • 1/4 teaspoon freshly ground black pepper
  • 1/4 teaspoon crushed red pepper flakes (optional)
  • Fresh cilantro leaves, chopped (for garnish)

Instructions

  1. Rinse the shrimp under cold water, then pat dry thoroughly with paper towels.
  2. In a medium bowl, whisk together honey, lime juice, minced garlic, olive oil, smoked paprika, salt, pepper, and red pepper flakes if using until smooth.
  3. Add the shrimp to the marinade, tossing gently to coat evenly. Cover and refrigerate for 15-20 minutes.
  4. Preheat grill or grill pan to medium-high heat (about 400°F). Lightly oil the grates to prevent sticking.
  5. Thread 4-5 shrimp onto each skewer, leaving space between each shrimp for even cooking.
  6. Grill the shrimp skewers for 2-3 minutes per side, turning once, until shrimp are opaque and slightly charred (total 5-7 minutes).

Notes
